We depart from Montevideo Airport <\/strong>in the morning, bound for Lima. <\/strong>After a brief stopover, we'll arrive in Cusco<\/strong> in the early afternoon, where a group will be waiting to transfer us to our hotel. The afternoon is free to adjust to the altitude and explore the surrounding area. This day will be dedicated to a tour of Cusco and its surroundings,<\/strong> visiting the center of the ancient city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Pukar\u00e1, Tambomachay, and the Sacsayhuaman fortress. Then, we will begin our journey toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas, <\/strong>visiting the archaeological site of Pisaq,<\/strong> a typical market with picturesque mountain terraces. In the morning, we take the train to Aguas Calientes.<\/strong> From there, we'll ascend to the long-awaited citadel of Machu Picchu, <\/strong>where, accompanied by a local guide, we'll tour the citadel, visiting its main sites.
